What is the Choose Love store? How does it work?
Choose Love is the first store that sells real supplies and services that go straight to refugees and displaced people around the world. The store is packed with desperately needed items like kid’s coats, hot food, tents and medical care. Browse the store, choose the products you would like, leave with nothing and feel great about it!
The cost of creating and running the stores is covered by private donations meaning every penny you spend in the store goes towards making sure refugees and displaced people have what they need this winter.
What happens when I buy something in the store?
Every item in the store is a supply or service provided or distributed by the 200+ partners we are currently working with. Winter is always a really difficult time for refugees and displaced people, and our partners need to provide more to support people through the freezing cold temperatures. Anything you buy (and any Gift Aid contribution) will be used to fund the purchase and distribution of the supplies or services you buy.
If a lot of people buy the same item and we have an urgent shortfall in other items, we will seek to even things up to provide the full range of vital services our projects need. This means that in rare cases, some of your donation could be used for a different item or service. Whatever happens, we promise that 100% of your purchase will be used to fund aid for refugees.
How do I know that my purchase has been delivered?
If you opt-in to receive emails from us, we will be in touch with details of how your donation was used and the impact it made.
Unfortunately, we do not have the capacity to track every individual item but we will provide updates on the life-changing impact of the partners we work with and the projects supported.
I want to buy an item as a gift. Is this possible?
Yes! Whether you’re shopping for your Secret Santa, best friend or in-laws, give a gift that really matters.
In the Choose Love shop, online or in store, you can buy any item, supply or service in the name of your loved one, and let them know with an e-card, or a real card from our stores.
Our items make the best gifts any time of the year!
Can I buy a voucher for the store?
You can do even better! Buy any of our items, supplies or services in the name of your loved ones and let them know with an e-card. Just click ‘In the name of’ at the right hand side of the item, and follow the instructions to personalise your e-card.
If you would still like to purchase a digital gift voucher, you can do so here. We will send you a voucher code, which you forward to your loved one. They can then browse the website, add items to their bag and enter their voucher code at checkout. You should enter your 16-digit code to redeem the full value of your gift card. If the basket is above the value of the gift voucher you can pay the remainder once the discount has been applied. Please note, gift vouchers are not redeemable on merchandise.

Will my items be shipped to me?
All items for refugees and displaced people will be purchased by us or our partners and distributed to people who need them in the over 30 countries where we are working. None of the items will be shipped to you. If PayPal asks for shipping information when you are buying items for refugees, please do not worry, this is just a part of their standard checkout, which we cannot control. Thank you!
